Syed Nadeem Haider graduated in Law (LLB) from Sindh Muslim Law College, Karachi, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Government National College (University of Karachi), obtained in 1987. He completed his Higher Secondary School Certificate from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Karachi, in 1984.His academic performance up to the HSSC level has consistently been in the 1st Division.

He is currently serving as Registrar/Principal Accounting Officer (BPS-22) of the Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan. He assumed the office of Registrar/PAO on 24th July 2025. Prior to this appointment, he has held several key positions within the Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan, including serving Officer of BPS-22, Additional Registrar (BPS-21) and Deputy Registrar (BPS-20).

     Throughout his service, he has overseen various important wings of the Court, including the Judicial, Shariat, Administration, and General wings. He also served as the Head of the Bench Registry of this Court at Karachi for a period of three years. Being a senior and experienced officer, he has played a vital role in the operational and administrative functions of the Court.

           He has represented the Court at numerous national and international conferences and seminars, and has participated in several study tours abroad. His international visits include the Kingdom of Morocco, State of Qatar, Sultanate of Oman, Sudan, and Egypt, where he studied the judicial systems of Supreme and High Courts. During these visits, he had the opportunity to engage in meetings with Chief Justices of Supreme Courts in various Arab countries. He has also been actively involved in organizing and managing high-level visits of Arab Countries’ Chief Justices to Pakistan.

    Before joining the Federal Shariat Court, he served in various government departments and with the Provincial Ombudsman. He also practiced law as an Advocate in multiple firms.
